This blog provides personal primary and secondary collective visual research surrounding the social/ health issue depression, as well as, one of it’s causes: Discrimination. This precedes group research covering the systematic investigation into and study for sleep deprived university students. Research is an inevitable part of discovering a plan or course of action to diminish issue. This research precedes to further research covering where people sleep, sleep rituals, and invigorating/ sleep enhancing teas. Group 10 innovates a university sleep/ energizing room for sleep deprived university students. The room is specially built using organic fruits and herbs as a tea fusion that assists with sleep and using herbs that have been used since ancient times such as lavender, chamomile, and peppermint to sooth and relax, and oranges, kiwi, and lemons to revitalize. The steam hydrates and energizes the body through a specially developed fabric that protects and nourishes the skin. The room is always set to 65 degrees Fahrenheit and lit with a red light which is scientifically proven for optimal sleep (see video below).
